Independent PVT using a statistically representative sample of polling stations to verify official results and detect discrepancies.

Civic Education

Early warning systems and rapid response teams in high-risk areas to prevent electoral violence and promote peaceful participation.

Nationwide recruitment and training of 13,500+ polling station observers. Accreditation applications submitted to ECZ.

Voter Education Campaign
Community outreach in all 1,858 wards. Radio programmes, community meetings, and printed materials in all major local languages.
Jun–Jul 2026
Pre-Election Monitoring
Monitoring of candidate nominations, campaign period conduct, and party agent accreditation across all 226 constituencies.
August 12, 2026
Election Day — Full Deployment
All 13,529 ZamVote observers deployed. Real-time data collection, incident reporting, and parallel vote tabulation begins at 06:00 hours.
Aug 13–14, 2026
Results Verification
PVT results compiled and compared against ECZ official tallies. Preliminary findings published within 24 hours of polls closing.
Aug 2026+
Final Report & Recommendations
Comprehensive election observation report published, shared with ECZ, SADC, AU, and the Zambian public.
